Wheel-thrown in stoneware, The Winston Dog Bowl is designed to keep things where they belong. A low center of gravity and an inverted rim work together to reduce spills, while the weight of the form keeps it grounded during even the most enthusiastic meals.
The exterior features a uniquely faceted profile, while the interior carries a subtle finger spiral at the base. Each piece is glazed and made to order, offering a simple way to bring a bit of personality—yours and theirs—into an everyday object.

As with most of my designs, the natural clay body is thoughtfully included in the glaze application—grounding the piece and highlighting the material it came from. The Winston is finished with a transparent high-gloss glaze on the interior, with your choice of color on the exterior.
Each Sunyata piece carries a small hand-carved maker’s mark at the base—a quiet signature from the hands that made it.

Every vase at Sunyata is made from gray stoneware clay with fine black speckling. All glazes used are food-safe and non-toxic—a standard held across the studio.
