Wheel-thrown in stoneware, this piece carries a wide, open form with tapered lines and a balanced presence. Generous in volume, it holds everything you need—and then some. It’s the kind of bowl that could be passed around the table or kept exactly where it is and admired from a distance. Depends what you’re in the mood for.
Perfect for pastas, salads, fruits, or that optimistic pile of avocados you swear you’ll catch at the exact right ripeness.
As with most of my designs, the natural clay body is thoughtfully included in the glaze application—grounding the piece and highlighting the material it came from. This piece showcases an Olive Green glaze in a geometric pattern.
Each Sunyata piece carries a small hand-carved maker’s mark at the base—a quiet signature from the hands that made it.
Ceramics is an intimate craft. Each piece is made entirely by hand, carrying time, energy, and attention to detail. While the same care goes into every piece, no two turn out exactly alike—the subtle variations in form and finish are what give each one its character and purpose.

Materials:
